Report Card to the Public
Each year the State of Alaska, school districts and individual schools publish Report Cards to the Public that summarize the performance of each public school and its students.
Each report card includes sections addressing the following components: District Statistics, Assessments, Accountability, and Teacher Qualification.
The Accountability section gives a review of the current status of all schools and the District as related to Adequate Yearly Progress. The No Child Left Behind law and Alaska regulations require that all schools meet minimum performance standards and participation requirements on all assessments.
